The new ClearSkin 5 technology can map the contours and features of a subject’s face and retouch skin accordingly. It also replicates the face’s natural skin texture, allowing users to subtly remove blemishes while maintaining the subject’s natural appearance. With better hair detection and an expanded range of shades for hair recolouring, PortraitPro 19 users now have more options for choosing a base shade and customising the colour by adjusting temperature, saturation and contrast. PortraitPro 19 also offers new tools to enhance several different facial expressions from frowns to surprise. The latest version of the software also includes corrections for lens distortions created by wide-angle lenses such as mobile phone cameras, based upon 3D modelling.
An updated plugin lets users speed up their retouching workflow. Using Smart Filters, users can open PortraitPro Studio directly from Photoshop and start editing right away. Thanks to some newly optimized technology, the plugin returns to Photoshop up to 5 times faster than previous versions, which means less time processing. The latest version of PortraitPro Studio Max 19 allows photographers to automatically process batches of images simultaneously.
