Depending on the vehicle model, it is recommended that an oil and filter service is carried out every 40 thousand miles. Dsg Transmission Vw
The new DSG transmission is under pressure and you must release this pressure to fully drain the ATF side of the unit. I figured out how to do this under the transmission module selecting adaption and then selecting oil pressure resevoir emptying.
According to the Audi manual, there is a filling procedure that the techs would use, but I can't find anything in the transmission module that relates to filling the unit. Am I just overlooking something or will the car just build pressure in the resevoir on its own?
I plan to complete this service in about a month, so any input will be appreciated.
